1. General Information

GoCar Bulgaria operates as an online platform that connects customers with local car rental providers across Bulgaria. We do not own vehicles ourselves but act as an intermediary between you and the rental company. All bookings are subject to the terms and policies of the respective rental provider.

2. Booking Process

When making a reservation through our website, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. Once your booking is submitted, it will be processed by our partner rental company, which will confirm availability and issue a final confirmation. In some cases, you may be contacted directly by the provider to finalize details such as vehicle model, delivery time, or payment method.

3. Payments and Deposits

Most of our offers include No Deposit and No Credit Card options.
Payment can be made by debit card, cash upon arrival, or other accepted methods as stated in the offer.
All prices displayed include taxes, insurance, and standard mileage unless otherwise specified.
Any optional extras (GPS, baby seats, additional drivers, etc.) may incur additional charges payable on-site.

4. Rental Agreement

When collecting your vehicle, you will sign a rental agreement directly with the local rental provider. This document outlines the terms of vehicle use, insurance coverage, and any applicable limitations. Please read the agreement carefully before signing.

5. Driver Requirements

The driver must be at least 21 years old (or as stated in the offer) and hold a valid driving license for at least one year.
International visitors may be required to present an International Driving Permit (IDP) in addition to their national license.
Additional drivers must be declared and may be subject to extra fees.

6. Insurance and Liability

All cars booked through GoCar Bulgaria include basic insurance coverage as provided by the local partner. Additional protection options, such as full coverage or zero-excess insurance, may be available at the time of booking or upon pickup. The renter is responsible for following the traffic laws and returning the car in the same condition as received.

7. Modifications and Cancellations

Changes to your booking (dates, locations, vehicle type) must be requested as early as possible.
Most providers allow free cancellation within a specified time before pick-up. After that, cancellation fees may apply.
GoCar Bulgaria is not responsible for refunds made directly by the rental company.

8. Vehicle Collection and Return

The car must be collected and returned at the agreed location, date, and time. Late returns may result in additional charges. Please check the fuel policy before returning the car to avoid refueling fees. Any damages or missing accessories will be evaluated according to the rental provider’s inspection report.

9. Responsibilities of the Customer

By renting a vehicle, you agree to:

Use the car responsibly and only for lawful purposes
Not allow unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle
Comply with all Bulgarian traffic laws and regulations
Immediately report any accident, theft, or mechanical issue to the rental provider

10. Limitation of Liability

GoCar Bulgaria acts as an intermediary platform and cannot be held responsible for vehicle condition, service quality, or any disputes arising from your contract with the rental company. Our responsibility is limited to facilitating the booking process and ensuring transparent communication between customers and partners.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any disputes arising from the use of our platform or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bulgarian courts.
